On Friday 28 June, two SPS boats attempted to qualify for Henley Royal Regatta to join the 1st VIII in the draw.

The senior quad (Fintan Delaney, Laurenz Orlando, Seb Harker and Rohan Suri) were the 14th fastest (of 43) non-qualifiers for the Fawley Challenge Cup.  The 2nd VIII (Rex Weber-Brown, Sam Fowlie, Pip Bennison, Nathan Fairclough, Arthur Hamill, Milon Kalia, Christoph Hueffer, Jacopo Tans, Wilder Daffey) secured one of 16 places in the Temple Challenge Cup, the event for men’s university crews, from 55 crews attempting to qualify. This is the first time in five years that SPS has qualified a second boat for Henley.
